Overview
Irish Fest is the world's largest Irish music festival, held at the Henry Maier Festival Park in Milwaukee, WI! Four days of music, culture & craic! Irish Fest is one of my personal favorite festivals in Milwaukee to attend. I've even had the opportunity to volunteer in the merchandise tents and serve happy festgoers their favorite glass of Guinness.
Irish Fest is part of a larger organization called CelticMKE. CelticMKE encompasses 6 websites, one of which is Irish Fest. To bring all these entities together I incorporated a brand switcher on all 6 websites so that users can seamlessly navigate between the websites.
Solution
The overall design was intended to be playful, warm, and friendly to all user young and old. The new design uses color blocking, photography, textures, icons, and dynamic video. The goal of the website is to generate more ticket sales and donations. The UX/UI of the website was designed to focus the users' attention on these areas of the website. The content is broken up into small consumable chunks of information. The new design received great feedback from fest goers.
