Overview

The Gehl's Cheese project was one of my personal favorites to work on because of all the great imagery and its whimsical design elements. Gehl's makes the warm, gooey, delicious cheese perfect for restaurants, convenience stores, movie theaters, bars and taverns and my own personal kitchen.

Challenge

The design for this project was done by one of my very talented Colleagues, it uses great photography, colors and the prototype included a lot of great animation elements. The biggest challenge on this project was having to look at delicious food for 2 months while not gaining 10 pounds during the project. Okay, the real challenge was converting an outdated eCommerce system into a state-of-the-art checkout system. The other challenge was converting static content from the blog into a data site that could be managed in an XML data format.

Results

This project uses several data nodes to store all the different cheese sauce dispensers, cheese sauces and recipes. It was my job to overhaul the old and outdated code and replace it with a more modern approach. The result of this project is a beautiful responsive website that is now easier for the clients to update Using Titan CMS v7.0.
